As a custody attorney and family mediator in Brunswick, ME, David has helped thousands of people resolve difficult problems. David has practiced law in Maine since 1989, initially working as a trial attorney in a large law firm in Bangor, and then as an attorney for the Maine State Legislature. Since 2000, David's practice has focused on mediation, arbitration and collaborative law. David is a regular presenter at Kids First in Portland, and has taught conflict resolution courses in Israel and Ireland. He is an active member of the Maine State Bar Association; the Southern Maine Collaborative Law Association and a past member of the Maine Mediators Association and the Brunswick Town Council. In 2010, David was a co-recipient of the Cleaves Award from the Family Law Section of the Maine Bar Association for his work with high conflict divorcing parents.
